Lineage

Every wizard has an origin tale. Mine has math in it.

Mathematics, teaching, corporate data, and finally worlds of my own — six chapters, several detours, and no refunds on the years spent factoring polynomials.

Chapter One

The Journey Begins

I started as a mathematics student, which is a legally distinct form of wizardry with worse robes. Patterns, logic, proofs—I loved the moment an ugly problem suddenly folds flat and becomes obvious. That instinct for how things work underneath is the foundation everything else in this tale stands on.

Then I discovered I loved explaining it. As a tutor in math-based subjects, I learned that teaching is not transferring information—it is engineering the “aha!” moment on purpose, over and over, for people who walked in convinced they were bad at math. That habit—clarity, patience, no jargon smokescreens—now runs through every project I touch.

Chapter Two

Into the Digital Realm

Then I learned to code, and the math stood up and started walking around. Algorithms solved real problems; logic became experiences you could click on. I went into corporate data analytics, where the datasets are massive, the stakes are real, and someone always needs the answer by Thursday.

Data taught me a suspicious mind: what does this number actually mean, and who is it lying to? I got good at spotting the pattern nobody else saw and—harder—explaining it so a roomful of busy people would act on it. Every dataset has a story. Most of them are just waiting for someone rude enough to ask.

Chapter Three

Creating Worlds

Then came video games, where everything I owned—math, code, storytelling—got thrown into one cauldron. I built Story Time, a turn-based strategy game with over 40 legendary characters, and Numbers Game, a memory trainer that sneaks learning past your defenses. Currently bubbling: Clash of History and Lucky Gold Slots.

Games taught me polish the hard way: every mechanic, animation and sound effect either serves the player or annoys them, and there is no third option. It is meticulous, obsessive work. Then someone plays your thing, grins, and says “one more turn”—and every late night is instantly paid off.

Chapter Four

The Current Chapter

Which brings us to now, the best chapter: fixing technology problems for anyone who walks up the tower stairs. Data analytics, video games, websites, a computer that has begun making a sound like a distressed goose—whatever the challenge, I have got you covered.

Math student, tutor, corporate data analyst, game developer—that path leaves you with an odd but useful toolkit. I know the theory under the code, the data under the decision, and the craft that makes software pleasant instead of merely functional. Mostly, I like handing people that power and watching what they do with it.

The Philosophy

I believe technology should serve creativity, not sit on it. That data should tell stories, not molder in spreadsheets. That a website should be a place, not a filing cabinet with a logo. And that a good game follows you home and lives rent-free in your head for years.

Every project I take on is guided by three principles:

  • Craftsmanship: Quality code, polished design, and details fussed over past the point of reason
  • Storytelling: Every element earns its place in the tale or gets escorted out
  • Impact: Work that matters, helps someone, and would survive a stern audit by the aardvark
